Connor just sat and listened, and absorbed, and let it sink in with the rest of what he'd learned in this very short period of time. From old gods toying with them to magic apparently being real enough to hinder them to monsters and murderers ready to chase them down and slaughter them, there was just a lot coming at him at once. If it weren't for his being accustomed to absorbing a lot of information rapidly, he probably would have just tuned out or decided it was all horseshit.
