Running like this was always Jake's least favorite part...well...aside from the you know, being thrown on a giant meat hook? Yeah that was up there too. Still he hated running while injured....and being chased. Especially when he also had to worry about dodging fucking hatchets! Of course in his blind running and dodging he failed to notice the older man who Jake had literally only moments ago told Connor to go find. And what was said man doing?
Jumping up from a gen to hide in a locker as they passed.
Hoping beyond hope that the woman had tunnel vision Jake powered on...only to slow when he heard an all too familiar scream. Turning in time to watch as the large woman slung Ace over her shoulder and headed straight towards a hook.
"Shit-"
"Ah!!" Jake was interrupted by the tell tale angry scream that followed the deafening crack of wood against skull before Ace was taking off in one direction and Jake was ducking into a corner.
Alright...sometimes Yun-Jin was useful.
"Shiiiit I need to find a med kit and get back on a gen." Grumbling he waited until he heard the music fade away and his heart slowed again before slinking out of his hiding spot to do just that.
