Jake slips in such a way that Connor suddenly doubles over, screaming raggedly before he can clamp his hands over his mouth. He pants and stays there, curled on himself as the blue blood pastes his shirt to his body.
"Fuck! Fucking jesus dicks, just- here, listen-" He snatches the med kit from Jake and unravels a length of bandage that he hastily presses into Jake's hands, then turns back around. "Press it there, staunch the bleeding-" and then he starts to walk Jake through the process of patching him up, at least temporarily. He doesn't like how long this is taking, with the two of them tucked behind this rock trying desperately to pretend that he hadn't just absolutely blown their cover here.
