Smiling as he shaved another bit off, forming a difference between the round body and the tucked in wing before going about making cursory lines for flight feathers.
"Dad was the type who was like...we had maids and shit...place was like the cover of some magazine. Complete with the perfect little family who was successful and never did anything wrong." He rolled his eyes. "Too bad for him I guess, bet he's eating up the press with me missing now though."
There's a bitter tone at the end but he finally does look back at Connor, smiling at the idea of a ball of fluff running around.
"Man that sounds so cute, I wish I had a dog...best I got here are some crows that like to bring me things."
