"Riceball, heh, that's cute." Jake chuckled as he watched the stone move in the other mans hands. "Dexterous, good. You're gonna need that when you're working on gens. Damn things can be really finicky."

Holding up the figure he was carving, definitely a bird of some kind now, he blew off some of the shavings while examining it closer.

"Never had a dog growing up, dad was pretty strict and always liked the house as clean as possible. Dogs make a mess." He shrugged as he went back, adding smaller details with the very edge of the sharpened stone. "But I had a lot more contact with animals after I went off on my own. Animals are way better than people in my opinion."
